Virtual Earth 3D 4.0 Beta is the bet of Microsoft as a competitor to Google Earth. The concept of the program does not have many differences. A navigable map of the Earth in three dimensions including monuments, buildings and natural landscapes.
The point where most have been working is the speed for browsing and loading the images. At this point both have scored one.
The other major difference lies in the dependence of the browser. Virtual Earth 3D 4.0 Beta runs directly in Internet Explorer and Firefox (using a 3D plugin for browsing). Without an application does not consume less resources, but it is a comfort in some cases.
