SmartSniff 1.91 is a network monitoring utility that allows you to capture TCP/IP packets that pass through your network adapter, and view the captured data as sequence of conversations between clients and servers. You can view the TCP/IP conversations in Ascii mode (for text-based protocols, like HTTP, SMTP, POP3 and FTP.) or as hex dump. (for non-text base protocols, like DNS).
SmartSniff 1.91 is a tool to show the contents of the package running on a WiFi network. The communications that take place via TCP / IP can be read in ASCII or hexadecimal.
It has two different capture methods: Raw Sockets and WinPcap Capture Driver. The first one does not need to install additional software, although its functionality is limited. Therefore, we recommend using the second.
The result of the scan can be stored in three different formats: TXT, HTML and XML.
The program lets you create filters for packages from a certain port, IP address, and so on.
