Network Notepad 4.6.8 - a free application for creating simple diagrams of computer networks. The tool provides users with an icon of computers, servers, routers and other devices from which you can create a network connecting them with cables. Each device has a window of information about the hardware, where you can change the display name, set the capacity of individual cables outgoing / coming from / to the device, adjust other options appropriate for the device and enter the IP address on the network. Setting the last of these options causes that we can use the "ping" the device (check the response time of the device notified the request) or open a web page with an IP address assigned to this equipment.
To increase the readability of schemas, we can customize the display device names, add your own text in selected locations, turn on / off display of IP address on the diagram, away / closer scheme, change font, etc. The list of icons after you install the application is not too extensive, because many people may feel unsatisfied.
