Network Notepad 4.6.6: useful for making network diagrams
Network Notepad 4.6.6 is a small freeware utility that allows you to make network diagrams, critical to document clearly and in detail the physical form (or topology) of the same. Long ago we saw in Visualbeta to Best4C, but that works exclusively online. The task of documentation is often detract from the developers and, even more sadly, by the users, but its realization depends on that tomorrow any professional knows how to do their homework, and avoid that only those who carried out the original installation of the network can work on it (because it's the only one who understands it).
Network Notepad 4.6.6 lets you work with networks of varying levels of subnet, consisting of VPN and even that is extremely complicated. No one is a small utility that falls short of features.
You can also make flowcharts, and if you are interested in your diagrams look as much as possible to the Microsoft Visio you can download a pack of icons that are available for free on the website of this application.
