AbiWord 2.8.1 is free word processing program like Microsoft Word. It is suitable for writing letters, reports, notes, etc. If looking for a powerful word processor and free then this program is what you need.
AbiWord 2.8.1 is an excellent free word processor and Spanish (among many other languages) is very complete with all the options you can imagine and more, not dissimilar to other pay text processors.
The first thing we find is a very meticulous and professional interface. If used to working or know of other word processors like Microsoft Word or WordPerfect, you will be very easy to gain control of the processor.
The benefits are similar to other word processors. Possibility to format fonts (size, alignment, color, style, underline ...), setting tabs, margins, number of columns, lists, infinite undo / redo, function search / replace, images, page numbering, spell check, inserting tables, etc.. Do not miss anything. To save the results AbiWord 2.8.1 has the extension (the default) *. abw and the format is XML, and thus is visible with any text editor, and as to the import has support for many file types as TXT, RTF , HTML, Word97/2000, Palm, Psion, DocBook, XHTML, etc ...
