Vista Codec Package 5.2.1 does not contain a media player and does not file associations so that when you install it for watching DVD, movies and videos as quicktime, realmedia, avi, mpeg, Flv, swf wmv and you can use any player you have your computer.
Have you ever been unable to watch a video or listen to a song without being able to not having installed the necessary codecs? As of now it will not happen more.
