RSSOwl 2.0 RC1 is a newsreader RSS / RDF / Atom news. Written in Java, which means essentially two things - platform independence and slow work. Apart from the relatively slow work RSSOwl 2.0 RC1 is an application with many features and functions that make it my choice for software to monitor news sites. Currently the program can run under Linux (using GTK2), Windows, MacOS X and Solaris, as expected, and versions of Linux (in Motif library), Windows CE, HP-UX and AIX. The only thing required is Java 1.4.2. More about RSS can find here.
This thread news reader in RSSOwl 2.0 RC1 formats, RDF and Atom supports the management of bookmarks and proposes a tabbed browsing. It is also in Spanish and really easy to use through the presence of the typical categories and channel management options RSS, RDF and Atom.
RSSOwl 2.0 RC1 will allow us, like any other reader of this caliber, collect web-based news available via RSS feeds, RDF or Atom. We provides printing and export / import OPML (Outline Processor Markup Language). You can also generate PDF, RTF or HTML from any news and has an efficient search engine for RSS news feeds and RDF.
Among other interesting features, it is worth noting the ability to schedule scanning the news channels, store and share feeds with others, save to read offline news, news alerts sent via e-mail to friends, or view logs messages with our favorite blog utility.
RSSOwl 2.0 RC1 comes standard with a list of news channels and provides extensive documentation and tutorials in Spanish to move like fish in water.
