Wings 3D 1.2 is a very good program designed for modeling and texturing of objects with a small number of faces. It is used to create three-dimensional images, created by editing of simple objects (sphere, cylinder, cube).
Wings 3D 1.2 is a tool specifically designed to import and modify models by subdividing polygonal technique for creating well-defined models using few polygons.
The program itself does not include tools for creating your own primitive. Basically, Winds can import 3D models created by other design environments (like 3D Studio, Adobe Illustrator or LightWave), convert them to polygon meshes by subdividing polygonal and refine.
It also includes a series of tools that help you to assign materials, textures and UV coordinates to your models and add lights to the scene, perform screen captures, among other possibilities.
