Graphviz 2.27 Beta: Generates graphically the structure of applications
![]()
In fact it is about the size of the Mac OS X Unix popular tool, enabling us to automatically generate structure diagrams for applications, responding to the needs of an important stage in the definition of the programming environment prior to development.
Graphviz 2.27 Beta is a suite of tools to graphically represent the structure of a program, using a very simple format called DOT. Simply identify each of the nodes and the interconnections between nodes. Then rendering routines automatically generate structure diagrams in various formats.
The graphs are generated through analysis of source code modules drawing nodes and arcs that link them to each other. And all this through a fully integrated into Mac OS X and numerous tools to preview and settings that can build some abstract geometric representations detailed and precise. Ideal if you have to restructure a program to understand the pre-established relationships between processes and source files, or even to browse the structure of a database or an application graph.
