foobar2000 1.1 Final is an alternative audio player for Windows, which we have already discussed long ago in Visualbeta and has reached version 1.0. That brings a lot of new features that further enhance its excellent performance, and although the RAM consumption increases slightly, is still really low for what it offers.
In foobar2000 1.1 Final is a new design the menus, and now by pressing the Shift key while opening a menu will show options that would otherwise tend to be hidden by default. The preferences page also receives an update, and among other things we can specify a custom path to the folder and back covers of albums.
Support for ASX streaming formats, MMS and RTSP now is included in native form, thus eliminating the need to install components developed by third parties, which in this case were quite defective and returned to play a little unfortunate. There is a new and better support for a much wider range of multimedia keyboards, as well as the characteristics are improved CD ripping and inter alia provides integration with AccurateRip database in real time, and adds support for CD -TEXT.
