Distinguished by the fact that no loads your system, but offers basic options Winamp.
foobar2000 1.0 Beta 4 is a versatile audio player that can be used to reproduce a wide range of sound formats, as well as for conversion between different file types.
foobar2000 1.0 Beta 4 can play the main audio formats now: MP3, MP4, OGG Vorbis, WMA, FLAC, AAC or AIFF. Other formats can also play are: MP1, MP2, WavPack, AU, SND, CDDA, and so on.
The conversion is done through so-called Component Converter with which you work from the command line, but it is dependent upon the installation of audio encoders of other authors.
foobar2000 1.0 Beta 4 functionality can be extended by new components'll find anywhere on the application: statistics module, CD burning, file integrity checker, etc..
The player interface is very simple but has the advantage of the different albums to organize tabs.
