The conversion is done through so-called Component Converter, which works from the command line, but its operation depends on the installation of audio coders from other authors.
foobar2000 0.9.6.6 Beta 1 functionality can be extended by new components that can be found in the web application module statistics, CD burning, file integrity checker, etc..
The player interface is very simple, but has the advantage of organizing the different tabs by album.
